With the EDF Pulse Awards, EDF is preparing for the future by supporting innovative international initiatives that leverage the potential of electricity in order to make our way of life more sustainable. The three winning projects were announced on June 4, during an event that was broadcast live by Brainsonic.

On Thursday June 4, the second edition of the EDF Pulse Awards acknowledged three innovative, forward-thinking projects that leverage the potential of electricity and contribute to the progress of society. In the presence of Axelle Lemaire, Minister of State for the Digital Sector, and Jean-Bernard Lévy, CEO of the EDF Group, the winners of the categories Health, Smart Living and Science were revealed.

Brainsonic implemented a multi-language live video stream for the event, which took place at the Palais de Tokyo, Paris and brought together start-ups, journalists, bloggers and investors eager to share their enthusiasm and a shared passion for innovation and entrepreneurship.

Together with EDF, Brainsonic teams also used their social media expertise to enhance the event:

  • The most pertinent tweets containing the hashtag #EDFPulse were displayed on the live stream interface, moderated by a community manager
  • A Tweet Wall was made available to all visitors to the Start-Up Village, presenting tweets containing the hashtag #EDFPulse in real time
