France Médias Monde (AEF), the media group consisting of the international RFI, France 24, and Monte Carlo Doualiya networks, has decided to incorporate Brainsonic’s Player for management of its video and audio content.

Brainsonic offers its solutions to the global media giant to enhance its audio and video assets, live broadcasts, and on-demand streaming. The Brainsonic Player Manager, which is fully customizable, is particularly suited to issues arising in the adequacy of the presentation of content in standard generic media players. The player effectively addresses the common challenges, while maintaining a simple navigation for users.

As part of the Player Manager solution,  France Média Monde utilizes an SaaS solution through the use of Microsoft’s Azure cloud, integrated by Brainsonic to offer customized interface drives for each network,  allowing the management and conservation of multiple versions.

The solution also supports issues related to multi-device and environmental detection. These two qualities provide the Brainsonic Player Manager a dynamic adaptation in its appearance within multiple devices (computer/tablet/mobile), a compatibility with HTML5 and Flash, and an ability to process various streaming types such as MP3, AAC+, RTMP, MP4, and HLS.

The functional adaptation, which is transparent to the user, also makes it possible for the player to take into account the nature of the content being viewed, as being streamed live, or being viewed on demand as an example. Furthermore, this interface adaptation offers France Média Monde a list of features that can be utilized to create a customized experience for the user. Control via JS API enables the  integration of the player solution within the media group’s information systems and publishing tools.

Finally, the solution is designed to meet the multilingual needs of the company, which broadcasts
content in several languages ​​including French, English and Arabic, and also lends itself to the broadcast advertising rolls of multiple agencies in the goal of monetization.
