Techdays is considered the largest tech and digital orientated event in Europe. Hosted by Microsoft, Techdays is once again supported by Brainsonic for the integration of a social and digitalized experience, structured around Techdays TV.

 A true « Hybrid Event »

This year, no less than 18,000 visitors are expected, making this event one of the biggest events in Europe of its kind. In addition, the Brainsonic teams are working with Microsoft to offer, in addition to technical logistical support at the event, a  real digitized experience. With more than 300 live streamed sessions, the goal is to bring more than 40,000 visitors onto the TV Techdays site during the span of  the 3-day event and more than 100,000 in the coming months. 

 

Social media utilized to the maximum

Given the success of the networking platform, which is based on the LinkedIn API, the experience is extended and optimized for this 2014 edition, thanks to a newly improved algorithm that suggests content to users. In addition, social media actions have been strengthened this year, both upstream with a team of social media managers generating content as teasers for the countdown to the event via live Tweeting.

Finally, this year’s Techdays marks the onset of Winapp’s Awards ceremony, rewarding the best applications developed on Windows 8 and Windows Phone, all broadcast live on TV Techdays.

 

The « Timeline Live »: Live chat in a more advanced form

An engine developed by Brainsonic, and integrated into a WordPress CMS, this new feature allows the administrator to publish via the back office of the site, four types of content (messages, tweets, speakers’ cards and advertisements) during any live session during Techdays. Once published, the content is directly synchronized with the live video stream, ans is also then made available on replay.  If a user cannot watch the online live stream or attend the physical event, it is now possible to experience Techdays on replay, as if you were there.
